Tesla is changing its sales strategy. For the first time, the automaker has built a dealership-like building in an industrial area of Neu-Ulm.

More willadded in the coming months and years. Unlike in the past, sales, delivery, and service are bundled at the locations.

“This is our response to growth and customer requirements,” Automobilwoche quoted an unnamed source familiar with the plans as saying.

The automaker’s European factory in Gruenheide near Berlin is picking up its pace of production, with the ramp-up going “very well,” according to the electric-car manufacturer.

As its new factories in Gruenheide and Texas ramp up output, Tesla has forecast annual production of 2 million cars next year, ahead of its long-term goal of building 20 million vehicles a year.
